I know what it’s like to struggle on the path to enlightenment. Not knowing if you should be trying to quiet the mind, or look for the self, or question every thought, or try to be the stillness behind the thoughts.. You never really know whether you’re doing the right things, whether you’re actually making progress. And then, to make matters even worse, you’re worried that if you do find peace you’ll lose your edge, your killer instinct. The net result of all this is that you spend an inordinate amount of time trapped in combat with your mind, and waste years of your life not making any progress.
None of these struggles are necessary. They are not an inextricable part of the search for peace. They are the result of ignorance, of not knowing. And after all, why should you know these things? You’ve never had anyone to tell you. I didn’t have anyone to help me figure all of this out. I had to do it on my own. As a result, I struggled much more than I really needed to. It took longer than it really needed to. But eventually I figured it out. I stopped getting rag-dolled by my emotions. Stopped being a captive of my own mind. Stopped feeling the weight of the self pressing down upon me.
None of these things are mystical, and none of them are achieved through luck. They can be pursued intelligently and deterministically. I started coaching because I don’t want everyone to struggle the way I had to. Over the years, I’ve worked with founders of 9 and 10 figure businesses, CEOs, investors, professional poker players, artists, designers. I’ve helped people overcome persistent anger and anxiety, reach previously unimaginable levels of peace, and I’ve even had a couple of clients tell me they found enlightenment (although I still reserve judgment on that matter).
This is what some of my clients have had to say:
“James has the ability to provide straight, succinct, direct truth to unravel your deepest inner conflicts, without wasting a single minute of your time. I credit him for bringing real, positive transformations that changed how I live and work.” —Raad Ahmed, Founder of Lawtrades
“James helped me immensely not just on a professional and business level, but on a deep intricate personal level as well. He dives deep into what you are going through to get to the bottom of where things come from, and has helped me with realizations and mental blocks that I didn’t even know existed. As cliche as it sounds, he really helped uncover the light at the end of the tunnel and I highly recommend his services for any founder or business professional, no matter what you are going through!” —Kimia Hangafarin, Founder of Shadow
“So much of what disturbs the mind is unnecessary and avoidable. A handful of the wise, living and deceased, are capable of helping you understand that. The only one available to you for a conversation is James Pierce.” —Sam A.
“James has helped me overcome the fears I have about being vulnerable and authentic with my craft. James illuminates the falseness in the fears rather than trying to “fix” them or prescribe “action plans” like every other coach I’ve tried that has led me nowhere. By getting to the root cause, this truth silences my anxious, conditioned mind and has allowed me to return to my natural state of creativity after each session. “ —Robert M.
“I’ve had coaching with other self-proclaimed well known ‘sages’ that left me very disappointed and even more confused. James doesn’t leave you on a ‘cliff-hanger’ where you try to understand abstract and esoteric concepts, he has a very unique way of asking questions that stops your mind in its tracks. James does this effortlessly, almost by osmosis; it’s like he has some kind of superpower that cuts straight to the truth with only one question, leaving the mind nowhere to go.” —Anthony K.
I’m not offering esoteric practices and obscure systems of belief. Everything I teach is grounded in reason and practicality. I give frameworks, I share insights, but most importantly I help you get to the root of your problems. I bring them out in the open where we can see them from different angles, poke holes in them. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. This is how lasting changes are made.
